Victory 86 vs Falcons & Friends 42 (Women’s Division)

Victory came into this game ready to go and took an early lead. Pushing the ball in transition, they were able to build that lead, with #8 Sophie running the floor hard and finishing strong inside. For Falcons, #1 Sharlene had a strong first half but Victory’s energy and hustle on both ends of the floor was difficult to match.

UBC 45 vs Strathcona Dragons 42 (Women’s Division)

A super close game from start to end! Lots of excellent ball movement from both teams was fun to watch and the communication was great on both ends of the floor. UBC manages to squeak out a 3 point win, led by #7 Taelor scoring off some great cuts as well as midrange jumpers. Overall, a high energy game with lots of team basketball from both sides.
