The first game of the night saw a short handed Team XV play a hungry Blues team looking for their first win. Right from the jump, the Blues were aggressive and forced the issue on offense and defense. Denver Sparks-Guest led the way with 39 points while Nathan Bromige chipped in with a big double-double of 22 points and 12 rebounds. For Team XV, veteran leader Klaus Figueiredo and his 21 points wasn’t enough as the Blues overpowered Team XV for their first Vancouver Basketball Pro-Am victory.

While this game would be a forfeit as the Vikes did not field enough eligible players for their Week 07 match-up a highly competitive game would still take place between Academy and a mix of Pro-Am players. For full photo recap visit our Facebook page.

The final game of the night would pit the Falcons against the Royals with the Royals hoping to upset the sliding Falcons. With a short bench, the Falcons would put up a strong fight led by Brody Greig with 22 points and Jitt Lohcham adding 15 of his own. But in this game it was the Royals and their deep roster that willed them to victory as 12 different players got on the score sheet.

The Final Week of the Vancouver Basketball Pro-Am season will go down next Monday September 10th at the Richmond Olympic Oval. The first game tips-off at 7:00pm. The top four teams will move on to the playoff round the following week on Monday September 17th.
