Vancouver Basketball Pro-Am

Marek Klassen wanted a quiet night at the Vancouver Basketball Pro-Am, not wanting to risk injury before leaving for Turkey to continue his professional career. He got the exact opposite. In arguably the best game of the Vancouver Basketball Pro-Am season, Marek would lead the Academy team to an upset victory over the undefeated Falcons.

Marek’s stat line? A cool 51 points (11 3’s), 7 assists, 6 rebounds, and 3 steals. Marek seemingly could not miss while also handling the ball under pressure and creating opportunities for teammates with laser passes.

The Vancouver Basketball Pro-Am team wishes Marek the best as he heads back to Turkey to continue his professional career. The Academy team tips-off in Week 06 against the Royals at 10:00pm at The Richmond Oval.
